KGNU has spent the last few months working on a special nutrition project with 5th graders at Ashley Elementary School in Denver. Along the way, we’ve had a lot of conversations with these young people about eating healthy– and the CHALLENGES to eating healthy.

To celebrate a successful growing season, three communities gather to celebrate the Fairview Community garden.

We visit Miss Hardy’s Fourth Grade class to see how they’re learning about nutrition and healthy eating in a hands on way.
